Hey all,

I'm not sure whats going on but I'll explain.

When I'm stationary, lights stop signs etc, my car seems to drop in revs, shudders a bit, feels like the convertor is loading up, then it goes away.

I've read it happening while driving, but not like this

Anyone got any ideas or past issues of the same ?

Ben

l came across a similar issue after the battery was disconnected and the pcm lost memory. It is pissible to recalibrate by means of a idle learn proceedure. In basic terms you teach/ calibrate idle, fuel trim etc. Or your alternater is possibly a issue. When the votage regulator wears it can create a load serge meaning the voltage is not regulated within specs creating sudden over load on the engine as it tries to recharge at low idle. Its a similar idle drop when the a/c is activated and the pcm hasn't recalibrated for the extra load. If you have pulled the pcm fuse this will create this issue as it basicly deletes/ forgets all calibration accumulated over the years. Just some food for thought.

If you have a/c make certain to do do the ldle lrn proc including a/c. I found the 40 minute one the better. Remember to disconnect the battery first for about 1/2 hr ,dont pull the pcm fuse at all. There's a post on here somewhere maybee one of the members can help locate that its apparently the gmh ilp.
