Anyone replaced their window regulators before? My driver’s window is jammed and after taking off the door card looks like this is the issue. Is it a hard job to do? I found a replacement set here https://www.onlineautoparts.com.au/products/ZPN-14306 just want to make sure I am capable of doing it before attempting

If it bolts in bolts out i i remember doing a regulator on a ford it was riveted in had to drill it out if you got the door card out that might be the hardest part on some cars

You can buy the rivets from Holden. They are extra wide. Normal rivet gun is used to install them.
I haven't seen anyone else selling the rivets.

There is a how to thread on this job somewhere.
I swapped my rear door to electric and wrote something on it somewhere.

Most people reinstall with high tensile bolts and nylock nuts on them.

You haven't said which part of the regulator has failed, if it is just the white nylon runner (which is usually the case) they can be purchased cheaply and fitted without removing the regulator.

The Regulators are usually riveted into the door frame,
If and when you do replace the window regulator,
Drill the rivets out with a 3/16 drill bit,
Either re-rivet the regulator back in, or bolt it back in
Then get a 1/4 whitworth, or 6mm Tap with bolts and spring washers to suite the tap you use.
Tap out the captive fixing [they look like square nuts fixed to the regulator] and then you can bolt it back in.

All items you wish to re-fit it, rivets, thread tap, bolts and spring washers can be purchased from Bunnings.

Hows the refurbishment going and is the window jammed up or down, is it jammed or has the regular just stopped working?
5 years ago I replaced the back left and the regulator had failed while in the lowered position.
Easy enough job with only a little bit of calling Jesus all kind of names.
I removed the regulator and propped the glass up using a piece or pine and then went about purchasing the new regulator.
Like the Max Ellegy says the replacement process is a reversal of the removal process.
