I paid like 32 bucks or close to when i got mine from Holden parts.
Initially was going full price but asked for a discount since was Christmas

Holden's pricing on these latches seems odd, I bought a new one for my VX SS a few years back from Holden and it was $15.30, at the time I thought that was a rip off for such a small part. Can't see how the price could more than double in a space of a few years.

Pay a stupid amount for a little piece of plastic... or pull the console apart and just remove the door.

It works . I done it to mine before i bought another one from the wreckers. You can buy the latch from Holden there easy to replace . It must be one of their biggest selling items as everyone seems to have trouble with it .

They are on Ebay (Seller VYUTE) now for $9.99. Dayvo must be right, as this supplier states that they bought 14,000 of these units.. Go figure??
