Hey guys have my vx calais V8 and it’s meant to be a lsd but wants to only spin one wheel but if I sit on the spot it starts to dual so I’m gunna put a new diff in how do I know if it’s a 3 or 4 bolt ?

I think 3 or 4 bolt just means the flange on the front of the diff which attaches to the tailshaft which you can just get under the car and look at (although at this stage I'm pretty sure they were all the tri spoke 3 bolt type). Diff itself is an M80.

This exactly! If you can afford the extra they are a really good upgrade never again will you have to worry about 1 wheel spinning which will happen again in time with a stock lsd unit even a rebuilt one, did it to my old vx ss along with 3.9 gears and made huge difference
