Not alot to report on,
The vx now has working calais courtesy lights & calais sun visors, hsv gto steering wheel controls & a 245/35/19 placard in an attempt to keep the po po off my back if i ever get pulled over.

She should recieve in a few weeks: vz ss pedals & footrest, Shortened manual shifter rod, ripshift/malwood/probillet short shifter and 20x black wheel nut covers.

Later in the year and many $$$ to be saved up: m/t semi slicks [for the drags], new drive shafts [possible gforce ones], eaton true trac & 4.10.1 diff gears.

Long time no post. Bout time for an update.

Around 5-6 weeks ago the vx had a slight misfire. After having a clogged injector in it back in day is what it felt like i didn't worry about it as i was on the freeway and felt minor.

Little did i know the tps wiring casing was all split and touching each other blowing a fuse that also controlled the n/s bank of coils. Which caused only cyl 7 to fill up with fuel and hydraulic. This is the aftermath from then we pulled the head off which confirmed my biggest fears.

With a sump full of water and fuel, and a big hole in the bore i'm now looking at another block. Some have said this was tune related, other have said it's from who built the motor. I believe its half the first one and half me driving it the couple of k's home misfiring.

The manifold also has a crack in it like last time. So i'll be needing another one as well.

Motor had 27,000km on it. Unfortunately just bad luck having it snowball like that. I've got another block, pistons and waiting on rods which are still 2 weeks away then it's all go.
I really don't know who to get it tuned by here in vic, i'm thinking autotechnique, saas automotive or all sparks

I got me one of those as well, Even though it may not help with the boys in blue, I feel better for having it.
