Hi,
I just got the front bar on a VX equipe replaced/resprayes as part of insurance work. It looked a bit different to what was on it...then i realised that there are two small hole/filler sections that were painted the body colour (heron) rather than left alone as black plastic, as it was originally. I am a real stickler for originality. I don't want to have to get the whole bar done as re-work for such small items (the fillers are moulded in), so i was going to rectify it myself. Seeing that the 2 sections are maybe 5cm-ish round, I was thinking of just painting over the top with some flat black tamiya model paint. I beleive the bar was done in 2-pak.
Any thoughts/tips?
