Nah man made sure the first time I realised, they are completely turned off at the switch, probably a dumb question but would it make any difference if the indicator stork doesnt work properly like it's a bit dicky ? Example I can really only use the right indicator if I turn the high beams on then do it ? Or I have to hold the indicator right down for it to work?

Does it matter if the indictor stork is off a vx ss or would it need to be the same model?

The headlights do operate via the indicator stalk so yes it can have a effect on the headlights.

Indicator stalk should be the same from VT to VY just make sure you get the correct one as there are 2 different types (with and without cruise control).

Since you would be best to buy a new one, buy one for a VX. SH will may not last very long. There are some decent aftermarket ones out there so new won't be exi.
