would it be similar when cleaning the ls1 intake?
has anyone had experience with that, and what's entailed in that?
or is there a post done on cleaning an ls1 intake?
being that i am on my mobile i can't search using the jc app. or if i can i haven't figured it out yet lol.

LS1 would be different, but the principle would be the same.
Actually, true story, the other day I thought, oh it's been about 6 months, I better clean it again, So I drove down to repco, got some carbi cleaner and drove back. Then while the engine was still HOT, unbolted it, and sprayed it and all the crap just like 'melted' off... Was pretty cool. Dunno how good it is for the engine. But yeah. Did that

This is probably a really dumb question, but bare with me i'm just making sure before i give it a go lol. Is it safe if the carby cleaner goes down into the engine? Just because i cleaned the Trottle body yesterday and it was difficult to start. Great write up though! =]

what i did when i opened it up was stuff rags into each runner just to stop the carby cleaner dragging a clump of soot down there with it... other than that you shouldnt have any problems with the carby cleaner
