Hey, sorry if this has been covered before but i couldnt find it, i am wondering what fuel is best to run in a non supercharged 2002 VX Berlina, 91 or 95 or a mix of both? does my car need to be tuned to take full advantage of premium?
    Thanks

Fine on 91, but run it on whatever fuel gives you the best power/economy. From a purely economical point of view, I've found 95 cheaper to use than 91, but 98 being no more economical than 95 so not worth the extra cost.

As above. I usually run 91, but have found, especially on long highway trips that i can go further on a tank of 95.

I did a trip from Brisbane to Darwin a couple of years ago.(A very cruisey 3,500km each way)On the way there I ran 91 for 13.4 km per litre. On the return trip I used 98 premium for 13.3 km per litre. Since then I've only used 91. This year I did the same trip but prior to leaving I replaced my plugs and leads with genuine parts. 14.2 km per litre for the whole trip. I usually average 10 km per litre for a pretty even mix of highway and light city driving .Hope that helps.
