Hi i currently own a Vx II S Commodore its done 160,000 k's and has the eco tec v6 engine. as much as i love the car i have an issue under hard accerleration. Whereby putting your foot to the floor causes the car to change up through the gears. Once reaching 60 km/h and above the noise continues and only gets worse. Having checked the spark plugs and leads im baffled at wat the problem may be ( note the engine is a loud groaning/scraping noise)
Don't like the sound of that, do you give your engine a hard time, check your TPS and IAC, give your TB a clean while your at it. Check your tranny fluid. When was the last time your tranny got serviced??
