About a month ago I had our VX sedan lowered to the next setting after standard and when I first took it home it felt rough as but after going from Emerald Qld to Coolangatta last week the ride now feels a lot smoother so I'm wondering did it take the 2500 klms to settle the new suspension in.

yeah takes time for the springs to settle, once settled would be all good, although as you have mentioned its all good now.
