VX manual ecotec into vs shell

Hi guys
Basically i have a vx ecotec donk that is manual. i have a vs shell i want to put it into for a daily/work car. can i use the vx ecu and loom. is it plug and play or is there more to it? like changing connectors and re wiring?

If you're using the VX tail shaft, you'll need to have it shortened or pick up a VS S2 manual tail shaft (T5 tail shaft might work, not sure). The ECU might be a problem due to VT+ needing to have the BCM linked to it to work.

Not sure on the loom.

Head over to delcohacking.net, they should be able to give you a good run down on the ECU side of things. From what I have read, the Getrag uses the same VSS as the 4L60e, so all you need to do is get an auto VS ECU with a Getrag tuned memcal (which somebody should be able to mail tune for you for not much).

They'll also have a bunch of wiring diagrams for various looms.
