VX Acclaim Wagon S2,
Yeah i used new bolts torqued to spec in sequence. It started running rough after a cold start, that's why I started replacing stuff/ head gasket.

It had an exhaust manifold leak on both sides (snapped stud each side), i replaced the studs, used manifold gaskets and maniseal, but the left header has a crack in it, and the flanges are leaking because i couldn't tighten them up properly, will get a long shank socket to nip them up today. Maybe it is O2 sensor related. Hope so that would be an easy fix.

Did it make that noise as well before you pulled it apart?

I'd be checking that the rockers are seated correctly on the push rods.

Yeah, i don't think it was as loud a tick, but it was rough, like a couple cylinders weren't firing.

Today, i squirted a bit of throttle body cleaner down the pushrods.

Then i ran the motor up to operating temp and it smoothed out a lot, recorded some vid, excuse the weird vertical orientation, stupid phone did it, but you get the gist.

Be interested to see what you guys make of it.
