hey all, i dont know whats wrong with it but everytime i put my foot down and put load on the car it tends to jerk like it wants to change gears, now the work ive already done is a gearbox service (gearbox is fine) changed the sparks, leads, coil packs has anyone had this happen to their car and if so how did they fix it
I had a problem a bit like that at around 80-90kmh and if you slowly speed up it would jerk like it was missing or wonting to change back a gear I took it to mechanics and they couldn't fine it they changed the plugs filters and who knows what else but they hit me 500 bucks and 2days and it was still the same So a few weeks later I when to a mechanic m8 of my'n he had it for the day He said that he can not get it to do it But he put some Injecter cleaner in it with about 1/4 of a tank of petrol and ran around on it for 50k's and that was the last time it done it.that was over a year ago So I'd try a bottle of Injecter cleaner in it on a 1/4 -1/2 tank of petrol see how you go
had the same thing on my vx calais got an on car injector clean done by ultratune. and the fuel filter done and it was a new car again. definatley worth the money
fuel filter has been done and also i have put two of them injector cleaner stuff through it and still nothing so i might just take it to my mech and get them to do one of them on car injector cleans, thanks heaps guys and girls
ultratune call it a ultra 2000 service and it cost $179 which is the on car injector clean and throttlebody clean and works a treat or you can get an off car clean where they replace the seals and evrything but your up for bout $550
