VX Acclaim Wagon S2,
Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows what this wiring harness in the engine bay is supposed to be connected to...

I recently acquired this car and noticed this harness above the brake master.

It's a 2002 VX S (series II) with the N/A ecotec.

It has cruise control, ABS, Traction control and etc.

Cheers.

Its for the throttle relaxer on the gen 3's. V6's don't have them which is why its left like that

That doesn't make much sense as the V6 and V8 models have different engine wiring looms.

I was wondering if if it has two wires, and if it was for a bonnet light?

Just stating someone else, whatever it is its not needed, could be for a manual clutch or even electric brakes, be nice to find out as I only saying what someone else suggested on another post. LS1 does have a plug as well in the same spot but a different socket. Wouldn't be a scan thing for ABS would it.

If you don't know for sure, say that you're guessing it could be ABC, rather than say it's 100% a DEF.

What ever it is its not needed, its A AUX for something, just saying what someone else said, so don't worry about it its just a add on for something.
