My seat belt has stopped retracting, is there any guides on how to replace them? Eg removing trim and shelve and belts etc etc ? Had a quick search but could not find anything .

It's been a while since I did mine so I'm sure I've forgotten a step, but I think it was as simple as removing the rear seats to gain access to the reel. To remove completely the c-pillar trim had to be partially removed to gain access to the top hanger bolt. Didn't have to touch the parcel shelf.

you just have to take out your rear seat (the side you need) then the "c" pillar is held on by 2 screws at the top of it, then it all just unclipped. and to get to seat belt real its just two bolts i think. cant remember but that should help.

Thanks i did it.

Removal the rear seat via the black pull tabs
Undo the bolt under the rear seat back
Lift seat section out
Take out Plastic clip
Take out the arm handle up on the plastic trim
take out the screw over the C piller
Lift out.

Here's some pictures of the seat belt assembly - wasn't too hard to change over.

Were you able to fix the retracting mechanism or did you have to replace the whole seat belt? I have the same problem with one of my rear belts.
Edit: I just noticed that this thread is a bit old so I won't hold my breath waiting for a reply.

Could be a simple fix.belt may just have a twist in it,or the top hanger is dirty which may stop it from retracting properly.Worse case senario is that the retractor unit has a broken spring, which means a new belt.Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply. I have a feeling that it might be a broken spring.

If you can pull the whole webbing from the unit, you find that the plastic around the shaft may be broken aswell. That's not good either.

The seat belt is out to it's full extent and it does not feel like there is any spring tension, if you get what I mean. It's not like sometimes when a seat belt gets stuck and you pull it a bit you can feel the spring trying to pull it back.
