vx series 2 fuel pump or series 1?

my mind is in a total boggle over a vx fuel pump for a vx acclaim series 2
the pump arrived from ebay now problem its the flat plug and not the square plug that's on the car

now i'm wondering if the car is even a series 2 at all
vin 6h8vxk35a2l84xxxx
made march 2002
has black interior
abs
electric windows
round indicator stalk

is the vin K for acclaim or executive? (confused)

is the differance with the fuel vx pumps just plugs?
and when (date) did they change the fuel pump plugs in vx?

please help so confused and need car back and running with right pump.

the vin from the L##### is what decides the early or late vx pump sedan or wagon, plug is different and can be different hose sizes also

Yep that's the problem with buying from ebay, we too looked at a genuine pump from ebay and after being so confused we decided to purchase from Repco.
Ours is a 2002 VX series 2 Acclaim with the square plug as per the pictures.
