vx steering wheel controls

I have a 2001 vx executive and have a problem with the steering wheel controls, and have found out the wire behind the steering wheel is not going to anywhere. I have taken a photo of it but my intenet is slow atm will upload it later, it is the brown wire with a yellow wire with red stripe on it and has a plug on the end, and am not sure where it plugs onto. thanks

Found out that it goes to the BCM but not sure what that is, which then leeds to the cd palyer. Help haha

the BCM is the computer that controls the interior electrics. From memory it lives under the center console, but i wouldnt recommend that you play around with it as they can be a little sensitive and are expensive to replace.
