    hi guys,
iv just brought a vz monaro cv8z front bar complete with the monaro headlights and the parker/fog lights. i have a vx executive and am having trouble finding out how to wire up the fog lights and the parkers considering that my vx had the parkers in the headlights. any light on the subject would be great.

If you buy an SS headlight switch and a 5pin micro relay and install it in the labeled spot the wiring should all be there. You will need to join the wires to the dignified themselves as the plugs won't match up, but as far as I know there should be wiring good to go as they all share the same loom across all models.

i have had a look at my vx wires for my head lights and there is 6 pins in the terminal and on my monaro headlights i have 4 so would i be able to run a wire from the 2 pins to my parker lights below? and thn just run a fog light loom to a switch.. would that work?

I thought the monaro lights had parker lights in them? My mate has done the conversion and his are in the headlights. As for the four fog lights all you have to do is grab the fog light plugs already there (hidden up under the front behind the bar) splice them for the four lights or create a small loom (you can get the other end of the plug from Narva) and wire them in. Then simply cut the hole out in your dash for the original fog light switch (or get a dash fascia that already has it), and the plug for it will already be behind the dash.

Just done this conversion myself, the bottom light is a forglight which i have running off a seperately wired switch with a constant power, The top light is your parker for the CV8Z bar, i simply spliced the existing foglight wire and split it down to the new light.

the V2 cv8 bar has its parker in the headlight, cv8z is different
