VX windows cracking??

Hello all, when winding up my windows (electric) they seem to make a severe cracking sound from 3/4s to fully up. Any ideas what would be the cause? Cheers

prob got grit/sand/contaminants in the runners.

Had a look with a torch and cleaned the runners/guides?

Take the door lining off and grease the appropriate parts. Also run a very soft lead pencil in the channels where the glass is.

Same thing happened with my VN, used Graphite Powder on the channels and on the side seals. Never made a noise again.
