VY 1 Tonner diff whine

    Mum's car. Does a bit of towing, hauling ****loads of weight around etc.. and it's developed a diff whine. What usually causes this and are we looking at a full rebuild to fix it? Is it even a serious problem??

    Anyone? Thought this was a common problem in these later models..
