VY 2003 Auto

We fitted a new Fuel Pump and sender unit as you probably know the tray has to come of to get to it. The problem is now the Fuel Gauge reads back wards we changed the Dash Cluster and now it only reads almost empty. It is a 2003 VY

Get the new assembly out again and all going well, you still have the old one. Replace just the fuel sender with the one from the old assembly.

Off the top of my head, the float on the sender should measure 5 or 10mm from the bottom of the tank at its lowest.

Thank you very much for your help we know longer have the old one and the photo you have attached looks a lot different than the one inside the tank now that looked exactly the same as the one we took out. Thank you.

That’s from a one tonner/Crewman.
The tray gets moved to access it.

VY series 1 and 2 had different senders. There's no easy fix aside getting the correct sender or a cluster to match
