The way I like to do it is to firstly drain the Brake Reservoir using a syringe. The fill it with fresh fluid.
Dot3 or Dot4.
Then you need to bleed the brakes, starting from the Rear Passenger Side. You will need an extra person to pump the pedal for you.
You need to connect a small hose to the Brake Caliper Bleed Nipple and place the other end in a small jar or container.
You open the valve with a spanner and have your helper push the brake pedal right down and while still holding the pedal down, Tighten the Bleed valve. Then let go of the pedal and pump it a few times. Repeat this process again and again maybe around 5-7 times.
Process:
1. Open Bleed Valve.
2. Push Brake Pedal down and hold.
3. Tighten Bleeder Valve.
4. Let go of brake pedal.
5. Pump Brake Pedal a few times till it goes hard.
6. Repeat above Process 5-7 Times.
7. Check the Reservoir level and top up frequently to avoid air getting back into the system. (or you will have to repeat the entire process again).

Then you move on to the Rear Drivers Side Caliper and Repeat above process.
Do the same for the Front Passenger then Front Drivers Side.

You have then completly changed the Brake fluid and Bleed the System as well.
Your Brakes should feel noticably better.
