Hi all. So I had to buy a new cluster for my series II vy sedan, I put it in and the fuel gauge read full when it wasn't. I had read up and apparently it would have had to come out of a series I for the fuel to read backward. So I was told to get it calibrated, so I did. It had been set to where the previous fuel level was, which was half. It does not move from half now, weather I put fuel in or let it run low. What could cause this? Please help!!

Did you program it or someone else because your in a bit of a pickle all the information including the fuel part no. Needed to be downloaded ad re written to the new cluster for the gauge to read properly

im interested in the "fix" that you received, sounds like they didnt configure the cluster for a sedan or they really screwed up the fuel ohms calibration eg progammin in that at 10litres there is 100ohms AND at 60litres it is 100ohms, this makes the gauge get stuck at a single reading.

Id suggest knocking out the bloke who said "its all good now" since they could have done anything programming wise.
