Vy crewman v6 2003
Ive had a vy v6 crewman
For 6 months and no probs
Then i started it and horn went off as did hazard lights and wipers too!
Raa diagnosed faulty bcm
So i replaced it along with computer and key
It fixed it for 2 weeks then done the same thing
Now ive changed these parts again lasted for 10 days then same again
I believe the car was in a front end collision
Any ideas !!!!!

I'd be checking body earths around the front end. Smash repairers are notorious for putting earths back onto fresh paint, where they make no contact.

The main one to check is just to the side of the battery.

Check battery terminals also, and voltage on battery with engine running, should be between 13.5-14.5V if it's higher then you may have a problem with your alternator/regulator, could be intermittent though.

Lose battery terminals can cause spikes from alternator or starter coming thru to your BCM & computer and some intermittent faults with alternator regulator can also push voltages too high. As you've said it happens after you start the engine, it does sound like you get some spikes from somewhere which cause the damage to BCM etc. Does it happen while the engine is turning over when strating or immediately when engine starts or is there a delay?
