VY ecu locked?

Hey guys first post so here goes. I am looking at doing a few mods to my 03 vy acclaim v6 and have been told that the ecu is locked and and can`t be chipped, tuned etc, and that it could only handle small mods such as exhuast and air filter. I basically want to put a cam bigger throttle body and shift kit the auto. Sorry if this sounds stupid.:embarrass :embarrass

Reprogramme

Speak to Chip Torque in Queensland. They have cracked the ECU and can programme them. They also have distributors in most states.
