VY electric seats in a VT Berlina

I have a VT Berlina and l have bought a set of 8 way electric seats from a VY, l have run power and earth to the passenger seat and it works fine but have run power and earth to the drivers seat but nothing works, thought it was the module in the seat base so got a complete base that l know works but nothing. I don't want to swap the ecu so is there away to get it working?

Don't think it has anything to do with the ecu so I wouldn't touch that is it will cause different problems.

What colours do you have? The drivers seat should have more than power and negative,
