Vy engine swap

Has anyone ever dropped a 308 motor into a vy shell? And also would a 308 short motor be fine for this? Thinking about some changes to my vy and just want to hear some opinions

Im not to sure on the fitting side of things but personally i dont see the point..

Why do you want a 308 instead of a gen 3 engine?
If it the carby side of things then convert the gen 3 to a carby.
Its your ride and if you want to go for it but you would get better power gains out of the gen 3 and id imagine it being alot easier aswell since vys have the gen 3 in the v8 models
