Does the green light ring around the lighter in your vy exec's lighter illuminate? I just noticed today that mine doesnt. The light is working. There is a hole on the inside of the lighter where light from the bulb can shine through to the ashtray. But the green light around the lighter doesnt light up. Is that how it is supposed to be?? Im guessing its supposed to light up just like the green ring around the key switch... Right?
They are pretty rare in VY's - but yes, the green ring is supposed to'glow' with from the light behind it - perhaps your bulb has fallen from it's correct position?
I cant see why its not lighting up. The bulb is correctly placed in its housing but it is not illuminating the ring. And its not only one lighter...this is for both the front and the back ashtray. does yours light up?
I don't have one fitted in my car, the only vy I've seen it on, I never saw at night... Does the light illuminate the ashtray at all when it is opened? I mean, the light must serve some purpose?
im in the process of finding one because the butt bucket is very annoying as it takes up one of my cup holders. where would be the best place to find one? sorry for the hijack
