Thought that I would share with everyone some pics of my car. We bought it with a body kit and the mags on it. Mods we want to do: Change tail lights (any ideas?) Leather like interior, going black and silver/grey Husband wants to put a V8 in it only paying $1500 off of a mate comes with everything Want to get another set of mags (something with black on them) Any other ideas would be muchly appreciated.
Change to SS tails, Get a calais bonnet lip, change headlights to SS and go for the V8 if you can get it all done for only $1500. Oh and get some foggies. Go for some nice 5 spoke 18 or 19" rims. Then paint your calipers:thumbsup: link
if you can get a LS1 for $1500 than go for it! and its a nice ride, i would go with calais lights if they fit, if not SS lights for the front and rear.
the calais headlights ones wont fit as the exec/ss ones have the little light thing just below it. They would probably fit but you would have a hole just under the light. And the VY calais rear lights wouldn't fit as they have the reflectors in the light and will only fit the calais and berlina. The VY ones don't look anything special anyway. Go VY SS headlights and either VY SS tails or VZ calais tails.
Well got some great news, our mate said we can have the V8, plus everything with it for $1000. I really can't wait to get it.
go for the VZ sv6 tail lights SS headlights either vz or vy but then you got the lil gap from the stock headlights.before fitting the V* i would ensure if it all there and condition of the engine try gettn service history on it.
Well unfortunately we haven't done any mods to it. Looks like we won't be putting the V8 in it as the mate has thrashed the sh*t out of it. Chris has some 17in mags lined up for it. Looking at fog lights now. My cars gone in today for ts 135,000kms service it hasn't reached that just yet though. Theres a couple noises coming from it so we will have to see how much this is all going to cost. We were thinking of trading it in and getting a brand new VE. But I love the shape of my car and have decided to keep it and keep working on it.
