[LS1] VY Fuel Pump Disassembly

Hi, Im looking to upgrade my VY LS1 Fuel Pump to a Walbro of some sort.

ive tried to disassemble the factory setup to get the original pump out, but it doesn't want to come apart. is there a certain way it does come apart? almost feels like its gonna break

On my vt2 there is two small indents on the plastic outer casing. Push them in whilst pulling the pump assembly out. You'll have to disconnect the pump wires and hose also
