VY II Maloo Oil Pressure Gauge

Having some troubles with my Oil Pressure gauge. While I’m driving it will drop right down to 0 and when I give it a little tap it will go back to about 2-2.5. Anyone know what the problem could be

check wiring to the gauge sounds like its loosing power may just need the terminals wriggled to get better connection again, not common for them to fail and go lower
