hey was just wondering witht the Indictors on the front is there n e way to change the panel from orange to clear n just hav coloured globes?.. is the indicator panel removable or do u need to use acid wash to get rid of the colour n make clear??

It might be easier if you just get some new headlights altogether. You could pick up new ones for about $330, with the clear indicators on them. You could even pay a little more and get HSV Calais lights, or Clubsport lights, but they would look better than the stock lights and have the clear indicators. You can even get clear repeaters for the side indicators, but it all depends on how much you are willing to spend. Once you start, you can't stop ;)

I painted the chrome surrounds inside the headlight and the amber blinker lens is basically clip in..

In saying that, getting into the actual healight is no easy task. I had to heat mine in the oven and gently separate the glass from the body.

It can be done but not real easy.

I paid $360 for a brand new genuine pair off ebay.
If yours has the teardrop(???) then you would be looking at the ss lights.

Nah, easy as mate.
Takes about 10 minutes to swap them over.
From memory just a couple of bolts in each one which you get to from underneath the car.
