vy lvl3 cluster lcd

Hey guys.
just took my cluster out to change the color of all the Leds in it.
and on the plus side, the lights work perfectly.
however. None of the lcds show anything, and all the joins look fine?
any ideas where to start or what it may be?

If your sure you have all pins soldered correctly.. then I I'd say the lcd's have fried, or you have damaged the copper trackings on the pcb board that the lcd connects to. Cant really apply any pressure otherwise you run the risk of snapping/cracking the track.
Alternatively, bending the pins too far at the lcd can also break connection.

How to fix?... new cluster.

just got it fixed
everythings working a treat.
i resoldered the legs and added more solder and i cleaned the areas witt rubbing alcohol and a brush and now its fine

must have just been the solder joints

What color did you change them to?

Cluster is a t5
t shifter is a t10 same as parkers and number plate light

lcd screen is a t4
and air condials isat3
then trick computer is a t5
key ring is a t5

the rest that is left idont know
power windows switch
same with rear button.

head light switch needs to be soldered in, and u will never have the same.
