VY Manual owner wanting to convert to gas

    Hi all,
    Well today I had my car (VY Manual) booked in to get Factory gas fitted.
    Anyway I dropped it off this morning and was going to catch the train home. 3km walk from the place to the station.
    Get to the station and the mechanics ring me up and tell me that they can't install the factory gas due to car being manual.
    Something to do with the ECU software has only been made for Automatic and not Manual vehicles.

    There is a posibility that the aftermarket kit will work but not the factory kit, waiting from a call from the technician tommorow!!

    UPDATE:
    I recieved a call today saying that it is not possible at all to convert a Manual VY to gas with either the Factory kit or an aftermarket kit.
    So still trying to find other possible solutions!!!

    I reckon there is a bloke on here somewere had the same problem with a vx manual some time ago. I remember that he got around it though and he was very happy with the result. I think his user name was deserthead for memory but not sure.
