As the title says. I'm using a small
amount of coolant, though none is
getting into the oil or trans. Small
amount of what looks like engine oil in
the coolant. Ecotec has NEVER
overheated, so what do you guys think?
Inlet manifold gasket?

The manifold kit costs about $80 bucks but you have to buy the two "O" rings for the pipes that go into the waterpump as they are not included . Bit of a pain in the butt when you have the motor apart and find out you have to buy them.

Sounds like A bigger job than I've been
led to believe, water pump 'o' rings?
Injector seals? Doh!
ari666, would you not consider oil in the
radiator and dropping coolant level
broke?
Coolant level is now sitting at the
bottom of the raddy throat, whereas
before it would sit at the top, just
beneath the overflow hose. And I reckon
my cap is not the problem. Cheers.

Yeah VYMAD, There are 2 O Rings for 2 of the Heater pipes that goes to the heater & 1 Pipe that goes through the Belt Tensioner you need to remove also part of the heater. Also you have to remove the Fuel rail so you will need new Injector O Rings as they are old & Cracked, you want a tight seal. Injector O Rings 5 Shops before someone had any, So be sure to get them before doing the job lol
Your Cap may be faulty if coolant is at the bottom of the neck of the radiator, My VX did this, replaced the cap, All good again, Has to do with it not allowing the flow between the radiator & Overflow.
