Looking for P/No. for the metal clip that fits on the inside of the door that supports door trim beneath the quarter window. Water has rusted mine out and I suspect is also responsible for the door lock solenoid failure. A flimsy piece of foam fits between this clip and the inside bottom of the quarter window. It would appear this foam is fitted to prevent water ingress. Anyone else experienced this problem?
no its not responsible for your solenoid failure, your solenoid has failed cause it is just out of warranty and its normal for them to fail around this time and every few years after. dont worry, it happens to everyones late model commodore
