ok,I've searched, the closest I could find is wiring to the center dome light
I've got the vy roof lining and the sunglass holder fitted, the sunglass holder plugs straight into the vy roof lining plug, but there's another plug from the roof sits near the driver's B pillar,it has 5 wires, but the plug from my vx B pillar has a different shaped plug with 4 wires, anyone knows how to wire these two together?new to commodore, easy on me:D

these are what they do

orange 12+ constant
black/blue earth
gray is door switch
gray with trace is the 30 seconds on

you can join both gray wires as the are internally connected in the dome light

i don't know what the vy loom is colour coded but from the map light plug

orange 12v to green
black/blue to black
both grays to red/black

the white, blue and red wire are connected to the switch and fed back to the BCM where it controls the "ON" and "OFF if yours has the separate switches for the lights you're going to have install 2 diodes so that they can be used separately otherwise as you switch one on the other will light also

when i did mine i had to wire in 2 relays so that the map light functioned as OEM

if it helps this is what the switch does

when in the OFF position there are no connections
DOOR position the RED and BLUE are connected
ON position the RED and WHITE are connected

like i said the 2 relays are wired

1. to cut power when switched to OFF i.e either to the 12v or make a break in the RED/BLACK wire
2. to supply EARTH when switched to ON i.e supply -ve to the RED/BLACK
