Hi all,..I have a VY SS 1 and want to know what to do to make it sound like a v8 should and gain a little extra power at the same time...without spending big bucks....say $1000....What to do?

Get a second exhaust, 2.5", with aftermarket cats and extractors, should be able to get that for under 1000. Look in the for sale section

    Exhaust/Tune then Intake.

    You choose.

Tune is pointless without exhaust though.

+1 on diff gears 3.9 or 4.11 would be the go.

or you could just get chev badges, they add an instant 10hp and 30 ft/lb torque

Lol on the Chev badges!...No,mine is Lion badged, very rare these days it seems...kinda makes it look different...Thanks for all the advice.Exhaust seems to be the starting point.Diff gearing,interesting...is this an expensive fix?...modifying the original diff I presume.

should have an lsd from factory, just get some diff gears of your choice and go to a diff joint and get them installed or try and do it at home. get some good lsd oil for when its done.
