Thinking of changing my VY SS front end to the VZ SS look, I'm thinking of going aftermarket which is the cheaper option but is it the better option like fitment wise, has anyone had problems with fitting aftermarket like gaps and tabs not lining up properly??

What do you guys recommend I do, is it worth it?? I know I need to change bar, headlights, foggies and the fluted guards. You reckon I need a bonnet as well or can I get away with it?

Yeah I heard that too, just want to know if the VY bonnet causes any issues clearance wise?

Not too sure, think the grill is either wider or thinner and that's all

Yeah I will get the VZ grille, just want to make sure the bonnet will be fine, I can use VY guards but what's the point of a VZ without flutes lol

I mean the part of the bonnet that the grill sits under is either wider or shorter from memory so you'd need a new bonnet, but I'm not 100% sure, maybe just measure both a vy and someones Vz and see.

And yes the flutes are a must :)

I'll see how I go, I've never used aftermarket always genuine but atm a baby on the way, it's hard for genuine. Anyone had a bad experience with aftermarket parts???

yeah man the VY bonnet wont fit up with the VZ front, the VY has a more pointed front so youll have an ugly gap, the VY headlights are angled different to the VZ, The VY and VZ use the same side guards so you should be sweet with that the bumpers gonna need changing coz the obvious teardrop thing the VY's have,,

I think non-genuine stuffs okay as long as it isnt chinese made, they always make cheap nasty stuff that breaks lol

    You'll need

    Bonnet
    Bumper
    Headlights
    Grille

You can get away with your standard VY guards I guess, but that's the main perk of the VZ. You're better off sourcing genuine second hand parts - non genuine front ends tend to fit pretty **** and droop to one side.
