Just finished doing this to my VT I used my original clock spring.

How much do you want just for the boot garnish if it is still for sale.

I know this is an old, old thread but does anyone know if the steering wheel controls still work?

Anyone got an idea to why this is happening? Ive just installed the vz steering wheel into my vt as per the diagrams on the first page of this thread, Hooked up one way witht he 2 wires, i have no horn what so ever, but if i switch the wires, the horn is on constant!

Thanks in advance!

i just had the same ish problem, i hooked it up and the horn was on constant, removed the airbag and swapped them now its fine. Not sure on why could have been touching. i have the black with yellow trace on the airbag side and straight black on the wheel.

i finally put my VY(or VZ) wheel on my VX, had it sitting around for a year. anyway it was as simple as removing the old one and fitting the new one, and my audio buttons still sort of work the left side all buttons are volume up and right side all buttons volume down, i can get used to that until i replace my head unit.
the leather calais wheel is 100x better than the stock plastic acclaim wheel wish i had have done it sooner.
