was wondering if i could find some help, i have just bought a 2003 vy 25th anniversary series 2 wagon, the guy had installed a sound system himself but it isnt finshed he said i need to run a control wire from the head unit (which is the standard head unit that comes in the 25th anniversary) to the amp but am not sure which wire i connect to that comes out of the unit as there are so many wires. if i could get some help on which wire to connect too or if i need to get a new head unit would be great? thanks!
The factory headunit doesn't have one. You can make one by putting a 100mA light globe (or 100mA fuse) in series with the 12v power inside the headunit. I've got the diagrams of where on the PCB inside the factory headunit you can connect this, will post a pic tonight.
