im just wondering if lifter noise from a vy sv8 5.7 is common as im pretty sure that is wat is wrong with mine, if so are they hard to change thanks any help will be appreciated
I wouldn't say lifter noise is common but these engines are quite noisey in general maybe because they are all alloy. And if your lifters were say rooted then yes they are a bit of work to change as they sit under the heads which have to lifted (taken off) to replace the lifters.
Ok thanks is there a specific tool to remove and install the lifters at all or would they slid out fairly easy cheers
