   hi guy, just wondering if someone can tell me if a manual out of a 03 vy ute will fit onto a 05 vz ute? how many changes are needed motor wise? cheers

   FG XR6T Ute manual

   i dont know if it fits or not but there would be alot of work to it. the vz is 6 speed where as the vy is 5, completely different motors,

   i cant tell you exactly if a getrag will bolt up to it easy enough, but why would you want to change what holden created for it? if you wanna do it just stick the 6-speed behind it,
   
   holden have used a common crank for the auto and manual alloytecs so swapping over dosnt affect the engine. 4sp auto - 6sp manual
