VY Executive
i am looking at buying a VY executive, my first commodore. This model didn't come with traction control, but it has ABS, which i'm told uses the same sensors... how difficult is it to get traction control added to this model?

cheers

Traction control is controlled by the upgraded BCM. You would need to upgrade your BCM and provided you have all the sensors and everything, then it should work. You would also need to source a button to put in your vehicle to disable traction control when you dont want it. ABS only has part of the responsibility of traction control, the PCM also does work, not just the ABS system. If you search for one of my posts on traction control it explains how it works in VT-VY's.

EDIT: Found my own post, see the post here on how it works: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au...-2004/92346-traction-control.html#post1037084
