vy ute tray lights

has anyone ever connected lights in there tray. for example a fluro light or a rope light. did you have to run a wire from the battery?. or did you have a power source in the tray, thanks john

i haven't done it, but led rope light should be easy.
connect to the battery would be easiest with a on/off switch next to the light.

actually i might think about doing this myself
