Vy V6 Bash plate

Hi all. Last weekI went to change my oil as I just got the car and wanted to give it a good service.I had knew my car had a bash plate optioned from factory and Im wondering has anybody got one to ?? .Anyhow I tryed to locate the sump plug and couldnt believe it it was totally covered from view by the bash plate.Had to take it off by 4 bolts.I'm not sure if I should put it back on again as it is a bit of a hassle everytime to take off.Cheers

how often do u change your oil?

its 4 bolts, not that big of a deal.

^^^^ Depends how big the bolts are & where there located.

If u have to take it off everytime u service the car, that be a hassle to me.

My statesman also has this bash plate, and as i have a bad back im looking to leave it off so i can change oil a lot easier, is there any issues with leaving it off?

Leave it off unless you intend to go off road.
