Afternoon all, was wondering does anyone know much about vy crewman fuel tanks? Issue I'm having is I'm struggling to put fuel in. It's like the tank is full but tank is empty. Fuel is squirting back out the filler when you try to put fuel in. You only need to touch the trigger on the fuel bowser and it shuts off pissing fuel back out. I've taken a pic of the inside of where the filler neck sits and it looks like something blocking the filler? It's a white plastic ball or something? I've taken a pic of what's in the tank but not sure if it's normal. Appreciate anyone's help
Cheers

What exactly is that a photo of?
Is that the filler itself?
I also take it that you have an aluminum tray?

In the bottom of the tank where the filler hose comes out, there’s an anti siphon valve. That’s about it. The vent pipe from the top of the tank to the top of the filler is a straight through thing from what I can tell.

Personally, I’d be planning on removing the tank, cleaning it out, replace the pump and filter and the o-ring on the tank for the pump. New cap.

I have a tank at home, I might be able to get some photos in there for you.

I recently had to replace the tank and I could have sworn I posted it somewhere with lots of photos.
Can’t find them.

Looking from inside the tank, this is the anti siphon valve at the end of the filler pipe. It’s not going to stop the fuel going in.
The vent pipe is unobstructed
