Hi commrads, first post long time member and fan. Curious as to whether my fuel pressure reg. can be replaced without removing entire fuel rail and intake manifold draining cooling system etc...? VY V6 '03 Equipe sedan auto. Thanks in advance.

Just remove the cover, start the car and pull the fuel pump relay to take pressure off the line, u will need a fuel line disconnecting tool to pop off the hose.

Maybe no tool needed to remove the fuel line as in this picture shows, remove hose and pull out the pin.

g'day mate yeh the reg is inside a cage which is part of the rail. there's not much wriggle room to remove the clip and extract the reg. but I'll have a go when part arrives. Thanks for replies guys - smellbag
