Hello all. I just did a complete coolant change & I think I got an air lock, I'm pretty sure the engine over heated while driving, the gauge didn't show it was over heating but when it broke down I felt the bottom hose & it was stone cold so that tells me the thermostat didn't open & I think this was caused by the air lock. So now from all this the car won't restart this happened once before & the car started after about an hour on the side of the road after I assume it cooled down, now for some reason it won't spark or let fuel into the combustion chamber does anyone know what this could be does the ecotec have some safety cut off that prevents you restarting that needs resetting, I did take the bat terminal off to do a hard start but still the same.

    Is it cranking?

Sounds like it could be a CAS issue.

When you change the crank angle sensor should you do the cam angle sensor also?

Cam sensor wont stop it from starting or running. It just controls the sequential injection. With no cam sensor it will just run in batch fire mode.
